Aqua Restaurant Group's Senior Japanese Chef Maeda Norihisa in 'Pushing The Boundaries' at Shiro

(Hong Kong – 3 March, 2010) – Aqua Restaurant Group’s Pacific Place dining hotspot, Shiro Restaurant welcomes guest chef Maeda Norihisa on his mission to reinvent Japanese food culture in Hong Kong.

For the month of March, senior Japanese Chef Maeda Norihisa will be presenting his Omakase menu featuring his contemporary styling of traditional Japanese cuisine.

Chef Maeda Norihisa, originally from Osaka, Japan, has spent his entire life devoting himself to culinary perfection in terms of his cooking skills, through his long career working in Japan’s finest traditional dining establishments,

Chef Maeda San opened his own restaurant in 2000, at which point he created his own unique cooking style and presentation techniques, using traditional methods but encompassing his passion for contemporary design and cuisine. After completing his dream of opening his own restaurant Chef Maeda San decided it was time to travel and after learning English in 2008 he set his sights on continuing his career abroad.

Chef Maeda San is the Senior Japanese Chef at the Aqua Tokyo Restaurant and for one month only will be guest chef at Shiro in Pacific Place, where he will be “pushing the boundaries”, while on his mission to reinvent Japanese food culture in Hong Kong.

His Omakase menu will be available at Shiro during the month of March and Chef Maeda will be on hand to meet and introduce his culinary creations to his guests.
