(Hue, Vietnam, November 27, 2009) – Vietnam's new 5-star Celadon Palace Hotel in Hue is celebrating its first Christmas “resurrecting the romance and grace of a bygone era” in Imperial and colonial Indochinese style with festive entertainment, glittering decorations, street markets, banquets and promotional packages.
The spectacular hotel inspired by an Indochine ‘Noble House’ starts celebrating on the first Sunday of Advent, November 29, with a Ginger Bread House and Santa giving presents to children in the lobby from 5-6pm, and carol singing from 6.15pm. The tradition continues every Sunday in the run-up to Christmas.
A Festive Season Bazaar from December 19 to January 2 features street market bargains, local delicacies and socializing with locals and travellers amid a sea of lights and festive holiday decorations.
Christmas Eve Dinner priced at US$18 per person at signature restaurant La Brasserie features a 5-course menu including prime Australian beef, Norwegian salmon and sinful Vietnamese desserts, including a festive gift from Santa.
Christmas Day Dinner is a 5-course feast at La Brasserie priced at US$18. New Years Eve Gala at US$45 celebrates the countdown to 2010 with a dinner buffet and an exciting entertainment program including an international live band.
A festive season 'Luxury Package' is also on offer. Two romantic nights including breakfast, lunch and choice of Christmas Eve Dinner or Christmas Day Dinner is priced at US$90 per person, complete with butler service, from December 24-26.
To welcome the New Year, a 'Suite Package' for two from now to March 31, 2010, is promoted at US$175 for two nights or US$250 for three nights for two persons, including breakfast, airport transfers and VIP welcome with a 30% discount at all restaurants.
Also included is a 35% discount on extra nights, extended check-out to 4pm, and a 25% Discount Voucher on future room bookings valid from April 1 to December 31, 2010.
