(Hong Kong, February 3, 2009) – Switzerland's luxury Park Hotel Weggis is offering a luxury Swiss Spring getaway experience complimenting the annual Easter Lucerne Festival of world-class classical music and opera in the Alps.

Against the backdrop of alpine peaks on Lake Lucerne, the festival from March 28 – April 5 is one of the most delightful in Europe.

Highlights this year include Bernhard Haitnink completing his Beethoven series with the 9th Symphony and Chamber Orchestra of Europe, two piano concertos by Maria João Pires and Georg Friedrich Händel’s oratorio Jephta, performed by Opera Fuoca and conducted by Davis Stern.

The outstanding luxury hotel, immaculately restored and extended in a multi-million dollar renovation, offers a 'Parc & Easter' accommodation and dining package from April 10-13.

Priced at Euro 724, ‘Parc & Easter’ includes three nights with two breakfast buffets, a 4-course dinner with seafood starter buffet at restaurant Sparks on Good Friday, a 5-course dinner at gourmet restaurant Annex, Easter brunch on Easter Sunday and 3-course dinner at The Grape restaurant.

Also included is an Easter Sunday chamber music concert -- complete with Easter treat and egg-hunts for children.

The Good Friday dinner at Sparks is priced independently at Euro 62, with the Easter Sunday brunch buffet at Euro 42, or Euro 1.90 for children up to 12.

In a lakeside park with its own private beach on Lake Lucerne, the 5-star grand luxury resort is also renowned for its newly established ‘Sparkling Wellness' spa incorporating private Asiatic SPA-Cottages for beauty treatments, fitness, massage and a range of therapies.

Also in the hotel is the ZEBI ROOM, the colourful children’s playroom, which offers younger guests a variety of toys and games that ensure hours of amusement. In addition, table-tennis bats, billiard balls, kickboards and whipflipps are available at the hotel entrance, and a baby-sitting service is available for children, with prices on request.

At the "gateway to central Switzerland", the hotel is also ideally located to explore the surrounding alpine meadows, with a cable car trip up the Rigi a must, the historic medieval city of Lucerne, and excursions on Lake Lucerne by paddlewheel steamer.
