WORLDHOTELS Announces Partnership with Asia Miles

WORLDHOTELS to offer the largest network of airline partners by any independent hotel group by
welcoming Cathay Pacific Airways as the 20th airline partner

(Hong Kong, January 13, 2009) WORLDHOTELS is pleased to announce a landmark partnership agreement with Asia Miles.

Starting from 1st January 2009, Asia Miles members will be able to earn a minimum of 500 miles for every stay with any of WORLDHOTELS’ affiliate hotels.

Cathay Pacific becomes the 8th airline partner of WORLDHOTELS in Asia Pacific, joining ANA, Asiana, Air China, Thai Airways, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas Airways and Jet Airways. With a total of 20 airline partners worldwide, WORLDHOTELS now has the largest network of airline alliances among all independent hotel groups.

"The new partnership with Asia Miles underlines our commitment to develop the largest network of frequent flyer alliances in the industry" said Roland Jegge, WORLDHOTELS’ Vice President Asia Pacific.

"This brings significant benefits to both affiliate hotels and guests alike. Savvy travellers often select accommodation according to which frequent flyer programme the hotel partners with, and our affiliate hotels can now strongly compete with global hotel chains on frequent flyer offerings.”

“As Asia's leading travel reward programme, we are delighted to partner with WORLDHOTELS, and through them strengthen our relationship with independent hotels and regional hotel brands worldwide. This partnership will enable Asia Miles members to earn miles and receive added value benefits at WORLDHOTELS’ affiliate hotels worldwide” said Paul Loo, General Manager, Asia Miles.

To qualify for the miles bonus and any promotional benefits, guests simply need to present their Asia Miles membership card at check-in, and the mileage account is automatically credited.
