Intimate Cocktails & Secret Desserts at Zuma Lounge for Valentine’s Day

(Hong Kong, January 15, 2009) Central’s best kept secret - Zuma Lounge - plays host to a fantastic Valentine’s Day for one and all this February 14.

Zuma Lounge prides itself on presenting guests with a choice of experiences this Valentine’s Day. Couples can experience a bit of everything at Zuma Lounge, whether it is delicious cocktails, a tasty dinner for two tucked away in the corner, or delectable desserts. Singles can also enjoy Zuma Lounge’s classic cocktails and snacks at the vibrant bar or bring friends for a fun dinner and night out.

The cosy lounge located on the 6th level above Zuma restaurant, is a great venue for exotic cocktails, with elegant pre dinner snacks, whether dining at Zuma or elsewhere. DJ Jimo delights guests with a “mash up” of familiar tunes from 7pm – 9pm on February 14.

Back due to great demand is DJ Helen, following her much raved about performance on New Year Eve. DJ Helen will be spinning a blend of late night groovy house and ‘Nu Club’ beats.

Another crowd pleaser, Zuma’s “Special Chocolate Cake” is a dessert not to be missed. Aptly named the “Special Chocolate Cake” this dessert is truly to die for.

"Once it was on the menu, it was a hit. I felt it was unfair on my other desserts so I took it off the menu," said Eddy Lee, Zuma’s Pastry Chef.

"But even then, customers who knew about it continued to order. So it became a special word-of-mouth secret treat."

Presenting a sophisticated new twist on the Japanese izakaya concept of informal eating and drinking, Zuma features a restaurant on level 5, and lounge on level 6, with DJs three nights a week.

Cocktails can also be enjoyed outdoors on the exclusive terrace.

Rainer Becker and the Waney family launched the original Zuma in 2002 in the hip Knightsbridge district of London, where it fast became one of London’s most desirable and fashionable restaurants. .
