Sensational Truffle Season Celebrated at Aspasia

Aspasia, the signature Italian restaurant at Hong Kong’s stylish boutique hotel, The Luxe Manor, is celebrating the annual White Truffle season with a bespoke menu of delicately designed dishes.

Available from 20th October – 21st November the menu has been developed to showcase the intense flavour and gastronomic qualities of the famous white truffle.

For fans of truffle and eggs, the mouth-watering menu includes a luxurious Creamy Scrambled Eggs with Mushroom Juice and White Truffle ($580) and Egg in Raviolo with Ricotta Cheese, Spinach and White Truffle ($580).

In keeping with the origins of the truffle and the expertise of Aspasia, a five-course tasting menu priced at HK$1,880 per person has been designed to focus on Italian specialties. All dishes are also available a la carte for the diner’s preference.

The tasting menu commences with Scallop Carpaccio with Fennel, Parma Ham and White Truffle ($630) followed by Home-Made Tagliolini with Parmesan, Butter and White Truffle ($580).

To continue the theme, the richness of the truffles beautifully complements rich meats with Roasted Supreme of Pheasant on Pistachios Gnocchi with White Truffle ($680) followed by Wagyu Beef Fillet, Truffle Mashed Potato, Barolo Wine and Foie Gras Sauce with White Truffle ($720).

Dessert is served in the form of White Truffle Ice-Cream on Hazelnut Meringue with Vanilla Foam and White Truffle ($240).

The Alba (white) truffle comes from the Langhe area of the Piedmont region in northern Italy and most famously in the countryside around the city of Alba.

Celebrated for traditional stone-baked Italian pizzas, specialty regional cuisine from all of Italy and one of the finest Champagnes and wine cellars in Hong Kong, Aspasia is a refined yet relaxed ‘foodie’ favourite at the quirky The Luxe Manor, styled after a European manor in Kimberley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

All dishes are subject to availability and 10% service charge.

Specialising in freshest imported ingredients and memorable cuisine, advanced booking is recommended with reservations at (852) 3763 8800.

The Luxe Manor is managed by GR8 Leisure Concept Ltd., a Hong Kong based hospitality group.
